Compliance department is an integral division of all organisations and businesses. The primary task of compliance professionals is to create, implement, sustain as well as monitor compliance effort of an organisation. It is their duty to ensure that all the departments are abiding by the regulations set by the company as well as the local, state and federal laws.

Compliance  Specialist

The primary job responsibilities of compliance specialists are to conduct compliance research, analyze and check the regulations of a company as well as to support an organisation’s necessary operations. It is also his duty to evaluate compliance of guidelines, procedures, programs and rules. He also supervises the records of a company. A compliance specialist needs to work with other high rank professionals like product managers, sales managers, senior managers and so on. At times he also assists compliance managers in their work. If you want to become a compliance specialist you need to have a bachelor’s degree in management, business or related fields. Having a degree in law is also preferable.

Chief  Compliance Officer

The main job role of a chief compliance officer is to manage the legal compliance programmes of an organisation.She needs to evaluate and analyze different issues and ensure that high-level professionals, managers and employees are following the rules and regulations set by the organisation. It is also her duty to make sure that the policies, procedures and conduct standards are compliant. The officer creates, employs, maintains as well as modifies the policies and procedures of the compliance programmes. She should also take steps to prevent inappropriate behavior. She must manage everyday operation tasks of the compliance programmes.

Legal and Compliance Administrative Assistant

The legal and compliance administrative assistant should keep up with calendars and schedule meetings. He also needs to handle correspondence as well as complete the clerical tasks for the compliance and legal executives. Handling phone calls and recording messages also come under his job responsibilities.
